The Order of the Holy Walnut is a community of online monks who promote the idea of nonviolence in video games. The Order originated on the Habitat community in 1986 and continues today to promote a nonviolent approach in all games.
The Holy Walnut, our sacred being, instructs us to seek enlightenment via meditation (repeating the mantra "Nom, Nom, Nom, ...") and by advocating non-violence in video games. She tells us these activities will heal our korma and bring about world peas.

The Order of the Holy Walnut welcomes new members and in accordance with our vow of poverty, membership is entirely free. To join, send an email to the Membership Monk and you can join our discord channel and participate in our nonviolent games such as UHC and Rust. You will also receive a beautiful digital certificate (suitable for framing, if you print it) verifying your membership as a monk of the Order of the Holy Walnut.
